SAMPLE TEXT · PROTOTYPE · NOT LEGAL ADVICE
This describes what actually happens with your data on PeopleCAD today, in plain terms. It will be replaced with a full legal privacy policy once the business registration is complete; until then, this page is deliberately factual rather than formal.
What we store
When you upload a photo, it is sent to and stored on our server (hosted on Railway), together with the drawings generated from it. If you create an account, we also store your email address and, if you subscribe or buy credits, your payment history (amounts and dates, never your card details).
Who else touches your data
- Google — if you sign in with Google, or your photo needs their Gemini API to generate the line art. See Google's own privacy policy.
- Stripe — processes payments. We never see or store your card number; Stripe's privacy policy covers that data.
- Resend — sends the sign-in link if you log in by email instead of Google.
- Railway — hosts the server, database, and uploaded files.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and, if you arrive through a friend's invite link, a short-lived cookie that remembers who invited you so we can credit them. Neither is used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Retention and deletion
Your drawings stay in your account until you delete them yourself (from My drawings). We don't yet have an automatic deletion schedule; if you want your account and data removed entirely, email us and we'll do it by hand.
Consent
By uploading a photo you confirm you have rights to it and the consent of the people appearing in it (GDPR).
